Welcome to the Home Page of Dr. Raphael Jay Witorsch

Since attaining my Ph.D. in Physiology in 1968, I have been engaged in research, teaching, and scholarship. I have been on the faculty of Virginia Commonwealth University since 1970. In addition to my academic activities, I have served as a consultant and expert witness on the health effects of environmental exposures, with special emphasis on endocrine disruptors.

As of January 1, 2010, I will be retired from my full-time academic position. Although, I plan to continue some of my academic pursuits as well as maintain my office and laboratory at the University, I intend to increase my consulting activities.
